WatchI managed to get Jason & Crystal out for a little bonding session. They were really good. Both are starting to walk about and so far show little fear of me. I hope to visit with them again tomorrow. I pulled out the bloggie and got a little clip so you can have a peak at them in motion. =)

WatchYesterday was my Birthday…. the same day I said that the eggs in the nest were probably not even fertile. It’s been 2 months…. and only 1 egg ever hatched, CRICKET. WatchPerlie went to Time-Out today. He screams and attacks, and disrupts everything with the other birds. Even in Time-Out, he screamed all day so far. I put him outside for a bit and sat by his cage. He has been calm and quiet. He even let me open his door without charging me Beak first. Even as I write this, he sits on a swing. 1st time Ive seen him calm in over a year. Will see how time outs...

WatchCRICKET FLY! On 2-8-12, while attempting to get Cricket to pick at some pellets from a spoon, (which he/she did!), Cricket, without warning, FLEW for the first time, and it was (barely) captured on camera! =) Since then, Cricket has flown a few times. Here is the video of the 1st flight.
WatchHere is Cricket! He/She is now 4 weeks old. Perches, Climbs and flys! Now I’m working on eating.
WatchCricket came out of his nest by himself this weekend. I let him/hre hang out in a little cage for a few min. He’s so grown up…. Cricket hasn’t come out again yet, but his new cage (the big one, not this. this is a travel cage), is all setup for him/her to do so. Can’t wait!! =) Here is a little peak at Cricket. I promise more this week. Been very busy…
New Cage, and New Cockatiel, TODAY
So, today I get a bigger cage for Perlie, Lemon and Cricket. The catch? It comes with another lady bird named STORM. I am off to meet her shortly!! Stay tuned for pictures and video. =)
